The main purpose of the Parents' Association is to improve the quality of the school life of the children by
providing equipment that is over and above that which can be provided by the school budget. This is
achieved by organising social activities for parents and children and, when necessary, providing liaison
between parents and the school.
The Parents' Association is run by an executive committee comprising of fifteen members who are
democratically elected at the Annual General Meeting. This committee along with some teaching staff
meet regularly throughout the year. All Breakspear parents are automatically members of the Parents'
Association and are welcome to attend any committee meeting.
