Science Museum Y3
Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Science Museum on Tuesday. They watched a fun, interactive show ‘Stronger by Design’ which involved building bridges, sitting on nails and Mrs Mitchell-Gears being made into a sandwich and being hit with a hammer!
They also found out that egg shells are actually very strong due to their ‘arch’ shape. After lunch it was time to go on the Fantastic Forces trail and to look at the Explore Space exhibit. It was the children’s first time using the Underground for a school trip and they were very sensible and well behaved.
Year 3 are now looking forward to their visit from Freshwater Theatre next week. They will be presenting a show all about Ancient Greece.
